Old Town Hot Springs, one of Colorado's premier hot springs, is a multi-use complex, open to the public. Old Town Hot Springs is located at 136 Lincoln Avenue (near the corner of 3rd and Lincoln Ave.) in downtown Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The facility is open seven days a week with eight, hot spring-fed pools, two waterslides, (seasonal: winter and summer only), a fitness center, exercise classes, and massage. Steamboat's Old Town Hot Springs is a must on your visit to Steamboat. The Old Town Hot Springs, your non-profit Heart of the Community, is a 501(c)3 corporation, solely supported by facility revenues and donations.

  • Register now to get your Red Cross Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid. This class is from 9 am to 5 pm on November 15, 16, 22, 23. You must attend all four days to complete the course, though participation does not guarantee employment at Old Town Hot Springs. Participants must be 15 years old by 11/23/14.   • Register now for the first Old Town Hot Springs Fall Classic Power Meet, scheduled for November 9. This meet is an unequipped competition that will follow Natural Athlete Strength Association (NASA) rules.   • Training for a triathlon? Want to challenge yourself? Are you trying to meet a specific fitness goal? Heart Rate Spin Classes begin this month during the following regularly scheduled spin classes:
    • Mondays at 5:30 pm with Michele Meyer
    • Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30 am with Marietta Roberts
    • Tuesdays at 12:15 pm with Michele Meyer
    • Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 am with Jessica Speer
    • Fridays at 12:15 pm with Marietta and Jessica
    During these classes, instructors will guide participants by their heart rate zone in addition to the usual instruction. If you don’t have a heart rate monitor, no problem! All are welcome to class, with or without a monitor. Just remember: always workout at your own pace.   • Congratulations to Powerlifter Rodrigo Flores and his Personal Trainer Charlie Chase! Rodrigo placed 1st in his age group at the NASA Colorado Regional Meet in Loveland, CO on October 25. Rodrigo qualified for the National Championship and hopes to participate if he can secure travel funds. Charlie trained Rodrigo for 26 weeks to prepare for this powerlifiting competition. Rodrigo said “Charlie is an incredible trainer. I want thank him for his patience, time and knowledge.” Rodrigo promised his son that he’d bring home a surprise, and he did by bringing home the trophy.

  • Is it time to update your Red Cross First Aid/CPR skills and certification? Alexis Wolf will resume teaching this class the first Tuesday of every month through May, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm in the childcare center. Class dates are: 11/4/2014, 12/2/2014, 1/6/2015, 2/3/2015, 3/3/2015, 4/7/2015, 5/5/2015. The class costs $60, and can have 15 maximum participants, with no minimum.
