Lap Swimming

LAP POOL

Our brand new, 25-yard, 8-lane, four to ten-foot lap pool is maintained at 80 degrees for year-round outdoor swimming. The pool is fed by the natural heart spring water and features a diving board, gutters, and starting blocks. In addition to lap swimming, the pool is used for the Steamboat Springs Swim Team, aquatic group fitness, Masters Swim, deep water recreational swimming, and more.

Master’s Swim: This is an uncoached social group swim. The group meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 12-1 pm and Friday from 6:30-8 am. All are welcome to drop in. Please arrive a little early and introduce yourself. Many members bring swim workouts to share if you would like some guidance.

COMMUNITY POOL

This 3.5 – 4.5ft shallow-depth, warm community pool hosts a variety of activities, including swim lessons, low-impact group fitness classes, lap swimming, water walking, kayak-rolling practice, pool groups, and fun recreational swimming. The pool will is kept between 91-94 degrees to offer year-round activities. The pool features lap lanes as well as anchored log floats for kids to climb on.
