Looking to get in shape but not sure where to start? In this new 6-week program, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to safely and effectively begin weightlifting.
Guided by an expert coach, participants will learn the proper form and technique for a variety of exercises, including squats, deadlifts, bench press, bent-over rows, and overhead presses. This introductory class will also cover the basics of using various types of weightlifting equipment, such as dumbbells, barbells, and kettlebells. In addition to technique and equipment, participants will learn how to structure a workout program that is tailored to their individual goals. The program will take place in various locations around the gym to get you acquainted and comfortable in the facility. Space is limited to 14 max participants.
When: Tuesday & Thursday at 12 – 1 PM from January 16 through February 22.
