Front Desk Attendant
Job Summary:
The Front Desk Attendant will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks.
- Scheduling massages and signing up members for classes
- Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies.
- Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Operate the cashier stations, computers, and phone systems
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Facilities Manager - Building and Grounds
Position Overview: The Facilities Manager – Building and Grounds is responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance of our main building, parking areas, and landscaping. The Facilities Manager – Building and Grounds, in cooperation with Facilities Manager – Water Operations, jointly supervises a team of Maintenance Technicians to maintain all Old Town Hot Springs Facilities to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning:
- Cleanliness: Maintain the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facility. Responsible for full facility cleaning, both during nighttime and daytime operations.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise the Head Cleaner, cleaning staff and contractors.
- Staff Hiring: Coordinate and hire cleaning staff and contractors, working closely with the Head Cleaner.
- Supplies: Ensure consumables (e.g., paper products, cleaning supplies) are managed efficiently.
- Deep Cleaning: Schedule and oversee deep cleaning on a rotating and as-needed basis.
Parking Lots & Sidewalks:
- Parking Lots: Manage snow removal, bike racks, parking lot stripping, and pothole repair.
- Safety: Ensure safety, security, and proper lighting throughout parking areas.
- Other: Oversee the maintenance of signage, snowmelt systems, and storm sewer interceptors.
- Sidewalks: Handle sidewalk repairs and maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Landscaping (Excluding Pool Area):
- Landscaping and Grounds: Manage seasonal landscape tasks, including spring garden bed clean-up, weeding, leaf removal and fall garden preparation.
- Irrigation: Oversee the start-up and shut-down of irrigation systems.
- Natural Areas: erosion control, and protection of the property’s natural areas, including Spring Creek.
- Other: Ensure holiday lighting setup, tree health, and overall landscape maintenance.
Building Maintenance:
- Envelope: Repair and maintain the building’s envelope, including windows, doors, roofs, and siding.
- Utilities: Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system repairs.
- Floors and walls: Maintain floor and wall coverings, including specialty areas like gym floors.
- ADA: Overall building compliance with ADA.
- Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to ensure resilient operations. Manage inventory for mechanical equipment and lifespan monitoring.
- Fitness: Assist with fitness equipment repairs.
- Fireplace: Ensure fireplace upkeep and compliance with safety standards.
Leadership:
- Staff Scheduling: In cooperation with Facilities Manager – Water Operations, schedule Maintenance Technicians to provide daily schedule coverage. Will be part of rotating on-call coverage schedule.
- Staff Training: In cooperation with Facilities Manager – Water Operations, hire and train new Maintenance Technicians as needed. Employee development, coaching, and performance management.
- Projects and Tasks: Meet weekly with the Facilities Director and Facilities Manager – Water Operations to plan maintenance projects and schedules.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Special Events: Assist with special events, including annual fundraiser and fitness/aquatic programs.
- Emergencies: Respond to emergencies, including equipment failures, power outages, and unplanned repairs.
- Computer Use: Must be able to maintain electronic records and use computers / basic software efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum 2 years of experience supervising at least 10 employees.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management, construction, maintenance, wastewater operations, and/or swimming pool maintenance.
- Certifications: Ability to obtain Aquatic Facility Operator certification within 60 days of hire.
- Skills:
- Hands-on experience with the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Self-motivated to troubleshoot problems.
- Ability to identify workplace hazards and mitigate risks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for training staff and collaborating with external vendors.
- Proficient in record-keeping and compliance documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Willingness to learn and assist other departments at Old Town Hot Springs.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires work outdoors, including during inclement weather conditions, and involves physically demanding tasks such as snow removal or landscaping work.
- This position requires office / supervisory work.

Job Summary:
The Old Town Market at Old Town Hot Springs offers members and guests a fast, healthy dining option. We are seeking a Market Attendant to prepare and serve specialty smoothies, coffee, beverages, and select food items to members and guests.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares and serves a variety of smoothies, protein shakes and coffee to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested.
- Describes product details to customers.
- Receives and processes customer payments.
- Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.
- Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas.
- Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas.
- Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.
- Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed.

Job Title: Swim Instructor
Position Overview: The Swim Instructor, following American Red Cross guidelines, provides individual and/or group lesson instruction to students 6 months old – adults.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise students during class time and be responsible for their safety.
- Provide students will the opportunity to learn swimming skills based upon ability level and American Red Cross standards.
- Provide specific and constructive feedback to students verbally and via end of session report cards to enhance learning and understanding.

Massage Therapist
Old Town Hot Springs is looking for Massage Therapists to join the Massage Team. The Massage Therapist will apply a range of massage techniques involving hands and fingers to relieve pain in muscles, soft tissues, and other parts of the body.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Consults with clients before massage to identify and evaluate areas requiring therapeutic treatment.
- Consults with clients to assess their expectations, and asks questions related to pain or discomfort and to learn and/or update their medical histories as necessary and appropriate to the scope of treatment.
- Performs requested or suggested massage techniques, that may include deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, myofascial release therapy, lymphatic drainage.
- Occasionally communicates with the patient throughout the massage to ensure comfort with pressure levels and techniques being applied.
- Provides a relaxing and safe environment for clients.
- Ensures smooth transitions between massage techniques.
- Demonstrates and educates clients on methods to soothe and strengthen targeted muscles and tissues at home; may provide reference materials or links to websites and videos for further guidance and instruction.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to correctly perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and sports massage.
