Empowerment Through Self-Defense: 5-Week Women’s Self-Defense Program


Join OTHS and Lindsay Heideman for a transformative 5-week self-defense program designed specifically for women, where you’ll learn essential self-defense techniques rooted in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This program focuses on empowering you with practical skills to protect yourself, build confidence, and enhance your personal safety.

The program features offensive techniques such as distance management, wrist releases and various escape methods. We will advance to defensive techniques such as the shirt choke, the armbar and the triangle. Each class builds upon the last, providing a solid foundation in self-defense while emphasizing practical application and safety.

When: Mondays from 6:30 – 7:30 pm starting September 29 through October 27.
Where: Studio A
Investment: $80 for members and $95 for guests. Members may register online using the members portal, and guests may register here. Members and guests can also register by stopping by or calling the OTHS front desk at 970.879.1828.

Take part in a personalized, two-hour women’s self-defense workshop led by Lindsay Heideman at OTHS. This empowering class is designed to build confidence, increase awareness, and give you practical skills to enhance your personal safety.
