Couch to 10K is a six-week treadmill training class led by Joanne Orce. The 6-week program is perfect for anyone new to running or returning to running after taking a break.
The program consists of 3 runs per week and is designed to gradually build up your running fitness to a point where you can run for 30-50 minutes without stopping.
Two 6 Week Sessions Available:
First Session: Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at noon, starting February 6 through March 15
*No class Feb 13th
Second Session: Every Tuesday, Thursday, at 8:30 am and Friday at 10:15 am, starting March 19 through April 26
About Coach Joanne Orce:
Joanne has been a competitive triathlete since 2011 and a certified USAT triathlon coach since 2017. She has completed 7 full distance Ironmans (7 x top 10 Age Group placements), 20+ half ironmans, and many, many Olympic and sprint races. She is 5x All American and has qualified for and competed in Age Group Nationals and World Championship races.
Joanne was a co-founding member and President of the Northern Westchester Triathlon Club in New York and led the club’s Youth and Adult activities for 8 years. She has been a coach for Outrival Racing since 2018 and has coached several athletes to World Championship events.
Joanne enjoys educating her athletes on the best methods of training, proper nutrition, staying injury-free, and positive mental attitude. Her coaching mission is to help athletes of all abilities build confidence, maximize their athletic potential, and to achieve the best out of themselves.
In addition, Joanne is a professional artist and a patient, loving mom to 3 beautiful children.
